A family fun event celebrating the best of Bridgwater! Now in its second year our Bridgwater’s Got Talent Christmas extravaganza is back and choc full of our town’s best talents all aiming to be crowned the winner! We’ve held a host of auditions and scouted for the most interesting and exciting acts and what a line up we have for you!
Hosted by BBC Somerset’s Ben Mcgrail, the live final will see the acts battle it out to win an amazing photo shoot with Timeless Images.
Lennie Stanford is a triple threat performer and is constantly on stage. He has worked a lot at the Regal Theatre over the last couple of years, namely playing Gavroche in Les Miserable’s and Tobias in Sweeney Todd. He also attends Lorraine Aherns Dance Centre and performs with them in their panto and dance shows.
Claude Sandford is a local acoustic singer-songwriter based in Bridgwater playing a mix of popular covers and original material. Expect soulful vocals teamed with an energetic and vibrant delivery.
Nathan Ball is from Bridgwater and has been performing with local theatre companies since the age of 11. He has performed on some of the biggest stages in the country including the Royal Albert Hall and the London Victoria Theatre as part of the award winning Bridgwater College Show Choir.
Jemma Davey is 15 years old, from Woolavington and loves singing and dancing and going for days out with her Dad. She attends King Alfred’s School in Highbridge where she sings with the choir. Singing is her life.
Lewis Smith has been singing and playing the guitar since age 10 and he believes music brings out the best in people. Lewis will be singing ‘I’m a mess – Ed Sheeran’ and ‘When I’m Famous – Nathan Skyes’ at the competition.
Freya Curtis is 15 years old. She has been dancing for 4 years and wants to go on to become a performer in the future. Her strong points are in jazz and contemporary dance.
Alanis Mahdy is 9 years old and was born to dance. She has been dancing since she was 2 and has taken many exams, achieving distinctions. She also enjoys and performs gymnastics.
Mark Wall lives in Taunton with his partner, two daughters, a vicious cat and a couple of lurchers. A professional communicator by day, he morphs into a comedian by night; in fact a recent review by the Bridgwater Mercury compared him to Jimmy Carr! “compared to Jimmy Carr, Mark is rubbish!” See what you think…

Mervyn Brown – Singer.
Trish Caller – Founder of Genius PR and comedy expert.
Including a live performance from last year’s winner, Ivy Hamilton Baker, this promises to be a wonderful evening of variety entertainment.
With set design by second year Production Arts students from Bridgwater and Taunton College and a fabulous Christmas Raffle.
