From a gentle lilt to a wall of sound, every second of a Tin Giants concert is a quality experience”. Tin Giants are a progressive folk rock band with roots established in Anglo-European and Celtic traditions, performing traditional, contemporary and original songs and music. Tin Giants share decades of skilled musicianship and award-winning songwriting and you may recognise several former members of folk rock band Shave the Monkey in the line-up.

Emily Portman & Rob Harbron both have award-winning reputations as performers, composers and recording artists. Now they have formed an inspired new collaboration in which they delve into English folk traditions, creating an intricately woven contemporary folk sound. Emily is best known as an original songwriter and for her work with acclaimed folk band The Furrow Collective. Rob tours with Leveret, Jon Boden and many more, being in great demand as one of the finest multi-instrumentalists in the UK.

Pianist Sarah Beth Briggs is a leading recitalist, concerto soloist, and chamber musician. Her professional career was launched at the age of eleven when she became the then youngest-ever finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year. She has been the featured soloist at major British venues including Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall, London’s South Bank Centre, and the Barbican Centre.
She gives regular masterclasses and chamber music tuition in the UK and has also taught in Switzerland and the USA.
